Brad Andersen - Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt
Brad Andersen is the Chair of the EDC's Board of Directors. He joined Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt in February, 2003, focusing on the real estate, land use, employment and construction law issues. Prior to that, he served eight years as the Skamania County
Prosecuting Attorney. Brad represented the county on legal
matters, including landmark cases involving the Columbia River Gorge Commission.
He is a frequent speaker at continuing education
classes for Oregon and Washington attorneys.
Brad is a graduate of Pacific University and Willamette
University Law School. He was an associate attorney with a Portland law firm before
returning to Skamania County.
Dave L'Hommedieu - USFS, Retired
David McKenzie - Mayor, City of Stevenson
Dave has been Mayor of the City of Stevenson for over
ten years and prior to that, Chairman of the City Planning Commission for four
years. His professional background includes banking, real estate sales and land
surveying. He currently works for the State of Washington's Department of Revenue
as a Large Commercial/Industrial Appraiser.
Dave has been a member of the EDC board for ten years
and has served in various positions on the board.
Howard Houston - SCORE
Howard serves as counselor and advisor to small businesses
as Skamania County's representative from the Service Corps of Retired Executives
(SCORE). He is also Vice-Chair of the EDC.
Howard has a BA, LLB and JD from Harvard University.
He is a former business executive in retailing, manufacturing and services. Howard
is affiliated with the U. S. Small Business Association through membership in
SCORE and is Chair of the National Scenic Area Economic Development Program's
Washington Investment Board
Jim Mickel - WKO, Inc.
Jim is President of High Cascade, Inc. and has been
an active member of the EDC Board since 1994. He is a CPA and has spent the last
15 years in the timber industry. Jim also serves on the Board of the Northwest
Forestry Association as well as the Yamhill Log Scaling Bureau.
High Cascade, Inc. is located in Carson and supplies
lumber and other forest products to the WKO mill.

Tom Payton - Mayor, City of North Bonneville
Tom Payton moved to North Bonneville in 1962 and
since that time has been pastor of the north Bonneville Church. He joined
the north Bonneville City Council in 1995 and was appointed Mayor Pro-Tem.
When the Mayor became ill and resigned in August 2005 Tom assumed his responsibilities.
He wanted to continue the policies of the previous administration and was
elected as Mayor in November 2005.
Pam Ehrlin -- Director of Sales, Bonneville Hot Springs Resort & Spa
Pam was hired as the Direct of Sales for Bonnevile Hot Springs Resort & Spa in Ocotober 2005. In the beginning of 2006, her family relocated to the area from Idaho. Pam’s background is primarily in the Hospitality Industry. She started with Holiday Inns in Eastern Oregon, then continued on by moving to Portland where she worked in Sales for The Sheraton and Salishan Lodge & Golf Resort.
Judy Teitzel - Commissioner, Port of
Skamania County
Judy has served on the EDC Board since 1995 and has
been a Commissioner for the Port of Skamania County since 1988. Judy was a Special
Education teacher, and was employed with the Stevenson-Carson School District
at the high school and middle school levels.
Ole Helgerson - Agent, WSU Extension
Ole is Chair Agent for Skamania County and Area Forestry
Agent with Washington State University Cooperative Extension. He has a BS, MS
and a Ph.D in Forestry.
Since arriving in Skamania County in 1991, Ole has
conducted or assisted various rural tourism development and community development
activities. He also serves on the Skamania County Weed Board, Waste Management
and Integrated Vegetation and Pest Management committees and on the Hood River
County Forestry Advisory Committee.
Sandy Seaman - Branch Manager, First Independent Bank, Stevenson
Janet Smith - Director of Human Resources, Skamania Lodge
Janet spent 21 years in Human Resources at the Salishan Spa & Golf Resort in Gleneden Beach on the Oregon Coast. She and her husband moved to Stevenson in 1992, and she was part of the opening team for the the Skamania Lodge. She has two children and 5 grandchildren.
